- Keep clothes and pieces of clean, dry fabrics in the closet, and avoid storing damp, scented or soiled clothes in the closet, to avoid attracting moths.


- Make sure to keep stored clothes and bed linen for the upcoming season in an airtight plastic bag.


- Keep dresses and suits in closed plastic bags, and hang them in the closet.


- Wash used clothes when you buy them, and set the washing machine to the highest washing temperature.

- Using cloves, as it is one of the best options for getting rid of clothes moths, by placing a number of cloves inside transparent cloth bags, hanging them in the closet, or placing them inside drawers.


- Use white vinegar, which is an effective natural repellent to get rid of moths. The solution can be made using an amount of white vinegar with an equal amount of water, and then spraying the clothes with the solution. It should be noted the importance of avoiding spraying the vinegar solution on silk or leather clothes; It can damage it.


- Put a number of cedar wood rings inside the cabinet, as it is a natural repellent for moths.


- Put a number of mothballs inside the cupboard and drawers, which are balls made of toxic chemicals and produce strong smelling fumes, or use small cloth bags and fill them with dry herbs such as lavender, rosemary or thyme; In order to expel moths.
