3 - Complete steps 1 and 2 by the 1st of the month at 12 a.m. ET. For the new month, the Amex Benefit will swap accounts.

Does my Amex Benefit have a time limit?

Yes. Any remaining Amex Benefit in Uber Cash will expire at the end of each month and will not be carried over to the next month.
