How to install a three-way power socket and connect it with detailed steps

The electric plug is used most often in electronic devices, as it protects them from sudden electricity surges. The way to install it is not difficult

How do you wire a 3-way receptacle outlet? What is a 3-way wire installation? How do you wire a 3-way light switch?

We offer you how to install a triple power socket at home without the help of any electrical repair technician, and it is an easy method that can be learned in the event of following the next lines, as most of them lose electrical devices and notice that there is a difference in the shape of the electrical devices socket, there are dual and triple methods, there is a difference between the method Connect the triple and dual plug.

This article talks about the installation of the "plug", which is the electrical wire connected to the electrical device, which is placed in the socket to draw electrical energy.

Necessary tools and materials

- pliers.
- Triple chip.
- Screwdriver.
- Triple power cable.

How to install a triple power socket

1- Preparing the electrical wire

The color of the wires used for the nitrer, the phaser, and the ground may differ from one device to another.

Each three-wire electrical wire consists of three wires inside, a white or blue wire (which is the nitr), another wire in brown (which is the fizz), and the third wire is the grounding wire, and it comes in yellow with green. In the first step, the ends of the three wires are cut to an equal length, then the plastic insulation is removed from the head of each wire.

2- Identify the components of the triple chip

The components of the triple chip from the inside.

The triple plug contains three wire entrances for each entrance screw. To connect the wires to the triple plug, the plug is opened using a screwdriver, removing the screw and opening the triple plug, inside we will find the three poles.

Inside it there is a protection fuse, which is a cylindrical piece that protects electrical appliances in the event of a sudden surge of electric current. This surge will cause a malfunction in electrical appliances if a protection fuse is not placed, as it protects electrical appliances.

Next to the fuse there is a pole to fix one of the wires, and on top there is also another pole, and on the second end opposite the fuse there is a pole to fix the third wire of the triple cable.

3- Install the electrical wires

As we said in the first step, the triple cable consists of three wires, white, brown, and a yellow wire with green. Now the wires are connected where the white wire (the phase) is connected to the pole next to the fuse, and the brown wire (the nitr) is connected to the pole on the far second side For the fuse, the ground wire (yellow with green) is connected to the upper pole.

What you should know is that not all cables come in the colors of white and brown wires, the colors of those wires may vary, but the yellow and green wire is present in most cables, and the two wires connect one of them to the pole adjacent to the fuse, and the second wire to the pole on the other side of the fuse (on the left) Regardless of the colors, the yellow and green wire is connected to its place at the top electrode.

4- Installing the cable with the triple plug

In order to avoid any strong pull of the triple plug that may lead to the removal of the wires connected to its poles, in most of the triple plugs, there is a place designated to install the cable tightly. Cover it, then return the screw.

The plastic piece is returned to its place, the screw is tightened tightly and an attempt is made to pull the cable and make sure that it is completely tight, after that the triple plug cap is returned with the screw that closes the cap, then the triple plug is tried, and thus it can be said that how to install a triple plug has become in your hands. Do this at home without the help of an electrician.
